Europe day

Today we had a special project at our school  - Europe Day! 
We, the Comenius club, had prepared several little games concerning EU interests. All the 5th graders were invited to go from one station to another in order to get points for everything they knew.

Meeting in Romania

Last week some of us (Lynn, Tami, Pia, Paula and Madeline with Mrs Brigas and Mrs Lampe) visited our partners in Romania. 

Romania was a really great experience. We enjoyed our trip.

We met nice and awesome people. We found new friends, thank you for that.

The program was very interesting and various. ♥

Especially the sport activities and the museum visit. Also the shopping was very cool with our Romanian friends. The school visit was exciting and it was interesting to see, how the Romanian students have to learn.

The hotel was clean and pretty. We felt well-being.

The people from the other countries were very friendly and our Romanian friends too. We had lots of fun with all of you and stay in contact.♥

We were really surprised to see that there were cameras in all classrooms to controle students during their tests!

Preparing Europe day

Hey guys,
today we prepared everything for next Wednesday,

because we have an Europe-day in the school with the fifth class.

There we want to play games and try to find out how mutch the fifth class know about Europe.

Also we greet our partners in Romania!

Hello guys,
today we spent a lot of time on preparing games for our 5th classes, because of the Europe Day at our school. It will take place on 2nd April in our gym. Our club is going to play games with the smaller children concerning EU issues.
Also we finished the presentation for our visit in Romania next week. It shows information about Germany, Halle and our school. After our trip we are going to embed it in this blog :-)

Lynn, Paula, Pia, Madeline, Tami, Mrs. Lampe and Mrs. Brigas have already checked-in for their flights - online, certainly ;-)

Preparations for Romania

Hello guys, today we nearly finished the presentation for Romania and the flyer (have a look at "products"). Also we work on our showcase.
Those who are going to visit Romania were searching for an adequate artwork to take along. Some information were given by Mrs Brigas concerning the country, money, mobiles and so on. And by the way - our traditional costume - we don't have one! There isn't any in this part of Germany. So we had another idea. You will see in Romania ;-) If you're one of those lucky ones who meet in Bucharest :-) otherwise: wait for the photos :-)

What we did today

Hello guys, today we prepared a presentation for the visit to Romania about Germany. In addition, we talked about what kind of typical clothes the German wear. As our practical training is just over, we have a lot to do at the moment with the Comenius AG. Many attend to the upcoming presentation for Romania and other care of the flyers as well as the artwork for Romania. -David and Ozan

Actually our Comenius club has got a break because all of the 9th class students are working! They are participating in a practical training in different companies to get an impression how working life is ;-) and to get an idea what they would like to do next year - after school.
So till the end of February there won't be any new Comenius club activities :-(

Our last meeting was on 5th February 2014 and David, Erona, Bianca, Ilayda and Zehra made a Comenius cake for everyone (recipe coming soon). It was delicious!!! 

Besides we played with our newly created TABU cards - test run for international meetings ;-)
